What we collect
Two kinds of information. First, your account: name, email address, the school and subjects you tell us about, and your language and theme preferences. Second, the work you do in the product: lesson plans, slides, quizzes, class lists, attendance and marks that you or your school enter.
Why we collect it
To run the product for you: to draft materials to your brief, to keep your library and calendar, to calculate averages, and to keep your account secure. We also keep basic, aggregated usage counts so we know which parts of the product are worth continuing.
Student information
Student records belong to the school that entered them. We keep each school's data separated from every other school's, we do not use it to advertise, and we do not sell it or pass it to third parties for their own purposes.
How drafting works
When you ask for a lesson, the brief you type is sent to a language model to produce the draft. Do not put student names or personal details in a lesson brief — they are not needed for a good draft, and we tell you so in the product.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your materials are removed from active systems, and from backups on the ordinary backup cycle.
Your choices
You can export everything you have made, correct anything that is wrong, and delete your account. Ask us and we will help rather than send you round a loop.
Asking us about this
